    Knit & Natter (Thursdays, 11am-1pm) Bring your own knitting or crochet.  We also knit items for various charities or for sale to raise funds for them. This year we have made blankets for the Cats Protection League and for the Premature Baby Unit.  We have also made hats, gloves and scarfs for the homeless as well as poppies for the British Legion.  Free tea or coffee provided.

    Falun Dafa Thursdays 5.30 - 6.30 p.m. Falun Dafa or Falun Gong is a traditional Chinese qigong meditation practice to improve mind and body, with simple easy to learn exercises for all ages and abilities. No booking required

    Sparkle Club (Every Saturday 2.30-3.30pm) Local children’s author, Ian Cavill, coaches and inspires youngsters aged 6-11
     in story writing

    Kids Knit & Natter (Saturday 5 August, 1.30-3pm)  Knit & Natter will be teaching your children how to knit. Adults also welcome!

    Motspur Park PANDAS Support Group Monday 7 August (then every other week) 11.00 a.m - 12 noon. Aiming to provide a safe and supportive environment for mums and dads affected by parental anxiety and depression. See the PANDAS Foundation website for more information and facebook page

    Colour and Chat Saturday 12 August 2.00 - 4.00 p.m. Relax, unwind and join the  colouring craze! 

    Local History Coffee Morning. Tuesday 15 August 10.30 a.m. - 12 Noon. 'ALL THE FUN OF THE FAIR: Tales of Mitcham Fair' with Sarah Gould, Heritage Officer at Merton. Refreshments provided, no need to book.

    Children's Craft Saturday 19 August 2.00  - 4.00 p.m. Bring the children for ANIMAL AGENTS READING CHALLENGE fun craft activities. No need to book.

    EXPLORE LEARNING EVENT: Shape & Measurement Thursday 24 August 11.00 - 12.00 Noon. Join our Animal Agent mischievous monkeys in the quest to learn about 2D & 3D shapes, weight, length and capacity. Ages 5 - 6. Booking required.

    Can you spare a couple of hours occasionally? Why not volunteer to help at West Barnes Library? Volunteers are needed at a range of levels to assist staff - you could be helping keep the library open for the people of Motspur Park. Training will be given. As well as helping us support Motspur Park's library, you'll receive three free audio/visual (DVD) rentals and three free reservations each year (subject to annual review by Merton Libraries).     How do I become a member?
