Spanish Classes for Beginners  5.30-6.45pm Informal sessions, suitable for complete beginners.  No need to book – just drop in!

Reading Friends 17th February 3-4pm Get together with a good book, poem or newspaper article. You can meet new people and make friends. Everyone is welcome, give it a try , just book with library staff.

Knit & Natter.   11.00am--1.00pm.  Bring your knitting or crochet. We are a small group of regular knitters. We also knit items for various charities or for sale to raise money for them. Last year we knitted outfits for the 'Fish & Chips' babies in Africa, hats and scarves for the homeless, and twiddle muffs for dementia sufferers. We also held four sales and raised and donated over £290 for the following: Hemi Help, Cinnamon Trust, Merton Independent Living, Wimbledon Friendship Group, Hydon Hill Cheshire Home, Friends of West Barnes Library. Free tea or coffee provided.

Thursday February 20th 11-12pm  A Knight’s Journey 

We travel back to medieval times and children will joust their way through many grammar tournaments.
Limited spaces, please book with library staff  (ages 7-9)

Falun Dafa.  5.30pm--6.30pm.  Falun Dafa or Falun Gong is a traditional Chinese qigong meditation practice to improve mind and body, with simple easy to learn exercises for all ages and abilities.  No booking required.
